Steve Gissin, Partner

Experienced User Experience consultant - Prior to founding Customer Relevance, Steve spent several years leading the User Experience Group at Auragen, where he served as Director of User Experience. He oversaw the research and design teams ensuring that the online experiences for Auragen's Fortune 500 clients were intuitive, easy to use, and aligned with their strategic objectives.

Experienced facilitator – Steve has served as a strategic facilitator of focus groups, ideation sessions, individual interviews, and usability lab sessions for a variety of Fortune 500 clients. A seasoned facilitator, Steve has moderated hundreds of research sessions, and is also a certified Creative Problem Solving Institute (CPSI) facilitator.

Eyetracking pioneer - Steve was an early pioneer in conducting commercial eyetracking research and helping clients to better understand what parts of the webpage their customers actually look at. This research provides much-needed objective data into the design process. Steve has conducted eyetracking studies for a variety of Fortune 500 clients, including Dell, Expedia, Hotels.com, Kodak, BlueCross BlueShield, M&T Bank, Wegmans.

Matt Foley, Partner

Matt joined Customer Relevance from Harris Interactive, where he was a
Senior Qualitative Consultant responsible for managing and conducting a wide range of qualitative services, including traditional and online focus groups, in-depth interviews, usability and ethnography studies.

Matt has conducted hundreds of in-depth interviews and focus groups in a variety of industries, ranging from technology, consumer packaged goods and automotive research to healthcare and financial services. His work now primarily centers on website usability for technology and financial services clients. Additionally, Matt has considerable experience managing international research projects in a variety of countries including Canada, UK, France, Germany, Korea, Japan, Brazil & China.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree from Boston University. He is a professionally trained moderator through the RIVA (Research in Values and Attitudes) Institute.
